Welcome to the Nishna Valley Family YMCA web site. We are excited to have you visit our web site, but would be honored if you would come meet us in person at our wonderful facility that opened in 2004. Our facility was a collaborative effort between the Atlantic Area Recreation Foundation, the YMCA, the City of Atlantic, Atlantic Community Schools, and Atlantic Municipal Utilities. Without each of these entities participation this facility would not have been possible.
It has proven to be a wonderful facility that has been visited by numerous communities as a model for their hopes of a new recreation center. With over 1900 households totaling over 4000 members, this project has united our people and truly become a “community center”!
